STORY MAP: Women's March in Toronto

The second annual Women's March in downtown Toronto saw thousands of participants in support of gender equality. Throughout the march, swarms of pink pussy hats, scarlet coloured scarves, #MeToo buttons and politically charged posters were donned by participants representing the end of a patriarchal society. Throughout my journey, I spoke with various women who marched for local and international issues, highlighting the growth of intersectional feminism. Here are some of the reasons they marched.​
